2. If it is a nokia phone, you can do any of the following to activate the gprs
i. Send settings to 3888 as an sms for Mtn users. If they have the settings for your phone, they will send it via sms. When you receive the sms, save it ( for nokia phones) or install it as in the case of samsung phones.
N/B: For nokia users, you can go HERE to configure your phone.
3. When the G or E or 3G sign is showing, you can go to bookmarks from the phone browser and add the following address 10.199.212.8/a:0@www.google.com/gwt/n or any other site in place of www.google.com/gwt/n and there you go browsing free on the net.
If your phone is not a nokia phone and cannot be configured automatically by mtn you can use the following for the manual configuration

· GO TO SETTINGS
· GO TO CONFIGURATION
· GO TO PERSONAL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
· CLICK ADD NEW
· ACCOUNT NAME: MTN GPRS

ZAIN FREE BROWSING ON PC
For free browsing with a zain line, follow the following instructions

1. Purchase a zain line and go HERE to configure it free of charge. You can give me the zain number so i will configure it for you.
N/B: For manual configuration do the following

· GO TO CONFIGURATION
· GO TO PERSONAL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
· CLICK ADD NEW

Another way of activating a zain line is by sending the following (wap nokia 6070) as a text message to 232 and save the configuration settings they will send to you.

2. Download nokia pc suite from nokia website and install it. You can download the pc suit HERE

3. Make sure you can connect the phone to your system using a Bluetooth or usb cable and then Pay N3,000 to the following accout

7. Connect your Nokia mobile phone via the USB port, and also make sure your computer is connected to the internet
8. Run the Nokia Software Updater by clicking on the icon on your desktop
9. The Nokia Software Updater connects to the internet, checks for updates, and then detects your phone to start installing firmware updates for your Nokia phone
10. You might see some fuzzy things going on in your Nokia phone, and that’s perfectly normal to happen during a firmware update
11. When all’s done, the updater gives a confirmation message and then the phone restarts
12. You can now disconnect the phone from the computer
